The only exception to this rule shall be the existing boats - Blueberry, Bullwinkle, Go, Mumbo jumbo and Zap, who shall prior to observing the above rules be allowed to make structural alterations to their hulls prior to re-weighing their boats to ascertain the weight to be added as above. Any structural alterations shall be subject to the approval of the majority of the measurers, at the final discretion of the committee.

These alterations may include the addition of a marine toilet and/or bunks and furniture in keeping with the designer's original drawings. The weight of the toilet and bunks is subject to the measurers approval.

Any boat carrying existing ballast weight shall ensure such ballast conforms to this rule, otherwise such ballast must be removed and placed according to this rule.
